Not Good!

Just got my new dryer three hours ago and was so excited, completed first load, put second load in to dry and the dryer door will not shut!!!! I unplugged the dryer waited ten minutes tried to close and nothing... Now a technician can’t get here until January 4th 2018... NOT GOOD!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this dryer energy efficient love the lite inside the drum and my clothes are always dry and I can set the exact amount of time for the dry cycle! It's huge can accommodate a comforter and blankets very well
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fine, but bar near lint trap catches and damages

I've had this gas dryer for several months and it does a good job drying clothes. It runs relatively quietly and seems to be efficient. However, there are two metal bars near the lint trap inside the machine that always catch edges of towels and clothing and rip them up. Other reviewers have included photos, so it seems to be a fairly common complaint. It's a design flaw that damages clothing--it's not something that a repairman can fix. I would be really happy with the dryer except that for this one failure that damages clothes.

Excellent dryer, things get hung up on interior

It doesn't excellent job drying but articles of clothing get hung up on the interior Grill where the lint collector vents

Huge capacity

Replaced our vintage (read really old) dryer with this mode. Love the capacity and the many options for drying. Also, LOVE the color -- we went out and bought a new car the same paint finish!

Junk do not buy

Took forever to dry clothes when it worked. Installed the end of July last year and the heating unit already stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I will keep this simple. Within one month of purchase the dryer would not change settings and now randomly shuts off after only a few minutes drying. That was December. It is still broken. I am more than a little shocked at this poor quality from GE.

Tears clothes due to poor moisture sensor design

Do NOT buy this dryer. I sent it back to costco after the first week. Moisture sensor design is awful. Clothes are grabbed as they pass by the sensor and fibers are pulled. Haven't seen something design so poorly. Great 2 weeks without a dryer too. Will not buy GE products again.
