Poor design but dries well

The lint collector on the dryer has two metal bars on the interior of the dryer drum that seem to connect it to the dryer. This is very poorly designed because hair, threads, tags etc get caught on these metal bands s and stay there. I have had shirts, towels & sheets rip or begin to unravel because of a thread or tag getting caught in the metal bars. I haven’t put anything slightly delicate in dryer because after seeing other things getting wrecked I dong want to risk it. It’s really too bad the dryer was designed this way. I wouldn’t recommend this dryer unless GE comes up with a way to fix the design flaw.
The drying aspect of the dryer works well and do far I have been very satisfied with that aspect, but the design flaw needs to be addressed. I shouldn’t have to worry that my clothes, towels, etc are going to be ripped. What good is a dryer that wrecks our clothes and fabric ítems!?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It took two hours to dry a set of sheets. I don’t know if there is something wrong with it, but it is tripling my drying time.

Worst Dryer I've Ever Owned

I bought this dryer a month ago and 100% regret my purchase. It takes hours to dry a small load of clothes. I was so looking forward to having a new dryer, but am comp0letely disappointed in this dryer.
