I’ve had for 2 months now and am very happy with this dryer. It dries our clothes much faster than our old dryer.
Also all the cycles are very helpful.
Only thing I don’t like is the lint screen, it is a little difficult to place back in ( this is only a minor nuisance).

I bought my dryer because the transmission went out on my washer. My husband said since we had to get a new washer we should get the matching dryer. We chose GE. I’m so pleased, the dryer times itself by what selection u have made, & the weight. I am amazed how quick my clothes dry! I love it!

Poor construction

Within just a few months the bearing slides were coming out around the drum. They would stick out and snag clothes, twisting them throughout the drying cycle. Eventually, within a year, they had both completely come out. Strings and zippers from clothes regularly get caught in the gap around the drum by the door. Now, the drum has developed an annoying squeak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this end of 2018 summer. Nice large deym for drying bulky items. Some of the settings take time to get used to so that you actually use the dryer to it's fullest potential.

I've had this dryer for about 6 months and it's been working just great, but 'reliability' is something I've got to wait a few years for. It does seem appliances have been suffering from shorter lifespans nowdays. Sure hope this GE keeps working for a long time.
