My New GE dryer

Not as happy with dryer as I had hoped ...1st thing, is end of cycle buzzer is useless .. You can barely hear it in the room with the dryer, much less if you step to the next room ... I have adjusted VOLUME to highest & still cannot hear the sound .. USELESS for an alert to let you know it ended unless you are standing right on top of the dryer ... 2nd, clothes still don't feel dry when you use the preset cycles, JEANS, COTTON, etc .... I have to re-start dryer again for clothes to completely dry. Yes, my dryer is properly vented and I'm not overloading the dryer...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the slate gray color of my new dryer, but it doesn't dry as well as I'd like. Must run for a long time to get my clothes dry.

I purchased my first GE washer/dryer 13 years ago. ONLY one time needed to be checked! Yes you can say I don't take care of my appliances, but with GE, why do I have to? My W and D have been reliable to this day! We recently purchased these new W and D and, let me tell you, is the best you can get! the 'others' out these do a dis-service to us regular consumers. GE all the way, baby!

Great dryer so far! The control panel & settings part of the instruction manual is little confusing, but through trial and error I was able to figure it out. Favorite features are: 1.) LED lights that come on when the door is opened 2.) Sanitize settings 3.) Great variety of heat settings/ load types. I am now seriously thinking about splurging on the matching washer........
