This dryer performs flawlessly. Nice, quiet, simple, and efficient. GE is surely raising their quality bar. With so many options and price ranges out there, it is difficult to decide. This unit has all the features we needed at the right price. So far we are impressed on how well and fast it gets our laundry completely dry.

Love my new dryer!

I'll preface this by saying that I had to use pliers to turn on my old dryer so I may or may not be slightly happier than the average person. :) Nonetheless, I love the smart sensor that eventually learns my drying habits, having multiple options for different load types and the visible timer. It's nice to have a rough estimate of completion to help me stay on top of changing my loads. And finally, the drum light is great in helping me find that one item I want to pull out early after I receive the damp alert. As a side note, I really appreciate the auditory notifications not being obnoxious buzzing sounds. All in all, this is a great machine that I'm confident will last for many years.

For bulky items, like a king size comforter, I was disappointed that it took 3 cycles in the dryer for it to get dry. The dryer has great capacity but for items that large, it under-performed in my opinion. The comforter just kind of folds in on itself as it tumbles, and the interior parts stay damp, thus requiring the extra cycles in the dryer. Other than that, it does work well for all other clothes so far.
