Do not buy this dryer!

I am on my second GE dryer (this model) and now it just went out. The electronics are bad and they barely last one year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

one star is too much

Dryer stopped working after a year and a couple months so yeah the warranty is no good almost as if they planned this. Husband took dryer apart and the inside venting is actually elbowed causing a clog which probably tore the dryer up. Seriously, GE should know better and probably does. Seems like it is engineered to tear up. These people that rated it 5 stars have not had it long enough...just wait.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clunking noise

I turn on the dryer for the first time and it starts clunking. One of the inside fin is hitting against the left side wall.
Very disappointed! Now I have to wait for a technician to take a look at it... 24 to 48 for call time not including appointment time.

Great features

Love this set. My washer and dryer have never been inside the house. I live in a 110 year old farm house and the wash house is an out building brick silo. This is the first time laundry had been in doors. It is on the first floor and a very pretty set to be seen.

Had an almost 20 year old GE dryer that needed replacing, so I figured I’d buy another. I was pleasantly surprised at all the great features works really well and handles my clothes excellently

Dead on arrival

Was really excited about the new appliances, however even after I paid the installation fee I had to install myself and found out that the dryer was dead on arrival. Home delivery had been a big help but the downside now becomes figuring out if it’s repairable or needing to be replaced
