Second try, I'm hopeful!

I had a GE set previously that was only two years old. I loved those but they were white and I really wanted something more modern. I love this new set but first the dryer that was delivered was extremely noisy. It sounded like a screech every time it turned. They came and replaced it and happily the new dryer sounds like my old one. So far, I've really noticed the sensor dry function. It seems to take slightly longer to dry the clothes because it's often using cooler settings by default. On my old machine I could manually change the heat setting. I'm assuming because if the energy star rating this is not possible on this one. Either way, so far so good. I'm a little anxious about the digital controls, but only time will tell!

For the first month of ownership works great

I bought the matching washer and dryer and the dryer works perfect no problems with it at all. Screen sometimes a little hard to put back in after cleaning the lint off of it but it's manageable. But the matching washing machine I wouldn't recommend buying that at all and I regret my purchase.

This was a big upgrade for us. Previous dryer was 20+ years old.
The machine looks a little complicated at first, but is actually very simple to use.
Much quieter than our old dryer.
