Great dryer

This dryer is great. Drying is quicker than my other one. I have tried many cycles and all work great. Only thing I question is the lint basket has very little lint after each load. My other dryer always had a lot of lint. Not sure which one is better for collecting lint. I would recommend this dryer if you are looking for one.

Clothes Dryer Broke Less Than 5 Years

We have only had the dryer for less than 5 years and it worked great with plenty of specialized setting. The clothes colors faded, but every dryer does that. The major negative is that is randomly broke after owning it less than 5 years and GR only provides 1 year warranties. We have 5 GE appliances (clothes washer & dryer, fish washer, stove top & double oven) we purchased after Hurricane Harvey destroyed our house and every GE appliances has broke besides the stove top. Since GE didn’t provide us any assistance, we had to get a home warranty which are NOT cheap and have spent A LOT of mine in addition to the home warranty fees to repair these GE appliances. Other than that, their visually appealing, works well when they do work, but we probably won’t purchase another GE product unless they make our situation right somehow or make their products more durable and longer lasting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent but door sensor has failed twice

Stay clear

Worst washer and dryer i ever owned. Right after the first year mark the washer started rusting and the dryer has been serviced twice. Guess why I’m here? Looking for parts. I wouldn’t recommend this to my enemies.

Nothing but trouble

Original dryer caught on clothes and ripped some. Replace with a new one and this dryer made all kinds of noise. After a thorough service call, it still makes noises. Not happy.
