Too Long to Dry

Dryer takes twice as long to dry as old Kenmore gas dryer. Seems with all sensors in it, cant seem to figure out to dry clothes.

IF I COULD GIVE IT LESS THAN ONE STAR, I WOULD!

Bought this heap of garbage with our newly constructed home 3 months ago and the computer completely died....have already spent 3 hours of my life on hold with GE with no resolution because they say it's out of warranty. I've seen SEVERAL complaints similar to mine so they are consistently manufacturing unreliable appliances.

Unhappy with purchase

The sensors on settings are inaccurate so dryer turns off when clothes are wet. I have to use the timer feature only. Very disappointed.

Loved everything about this dryer for 2 years except that you have to slam the door to get it going. Then it just stopped working. No power at all. Still without a dryer a month later even with the extended warranty.

We love our new dryer

Great dryer. Replaced a 15+ year old model so big upgrade for us. The window in the front door is a nice plus as I can see when clothes are in there but we’re never unloaded.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lint trap doesn't catch lint and door switch broke

This is the worst dryer I have ever had. I thought very highly of GE products but this dryer has changed my mind. The lint filter doesn't work well so you have to take it out and vacuum underneath it once a week. There is no easy to remove panel to make this job easier. I've never had a lint trap perform so poorly. If that wasn't bad enough, the door switch doesn't work. I have to tape a thin sheet of plastic over the door switch in order to turn the dryer on. Otherwise it thinks the door is open and won't operate. Even with that, I still have to open and close the door several times to get it to start.

Bad dryer

this is the worse dryer I've ever owned. Even on Medium heat the clothes have deep set wrinkles that won't come out unless you rewash them and dry them on low which takes forever. There goes the electric bill.

Control Panel went out ... 3 months old

I thought that I was purchasing a great washer and dryer set for a great economical price. The washer has been great and the dryer was ... up until the control panel went completely out in just at 3 months. Ridiculous!
