Sensors causing issues: Tears & Snags in clothing

Through my research, I've found the two little metal bars inside the dryer are the sensors. They are allowing clothes and dryer sheets to snag between them and the wall of the dryer, eventually putting holes in lighter garments and even towels from time to time. I also cannot find the sensors to replace these anywhere. Big time disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of features on this dryer. I have only used it a few times so far but it is good. Love the light inside and the glass on the door so I can see if I have stuff in there or not
