You know you're officially adulting when appliances made you weak in the knees and the task doesn't fill you with dread. The control panel is user friendly with oh so many ways to customize the cycle. Noise is minimal and haven't had any issues with performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Automatic dry settings leave clothes too damp.

This is an ok dryer. Supposedly it is designed to leave clothes less than bone dry for protection of the fabric or something. Problem is, all the automatic dry settings leave the clothes too wet. We have to use manual settings to get out clothes dry enough to put away. Otherwise, the will mold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If your clothes are still damp after using the automatic dry, there may be a couple of reasons why this is happening. First, check to see if your load consists of heavy and light fabrics. When combining heavy and light fabrics in a load, we recommend choosing the “More Dry” feature to ensure a proper dry. Second, your exhaust system may be blocked or improperly connected. Best dryer for the price!!

We've had this dryer for 8 years and the only parts I've needed were the bearing slides which will eventually wear out. It has easy to use controls and a design that will never go out of style!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Modern Styled and Cool Sounds

It's only been a few loads ran so far but we love our new dyer. It makes cool sounds when selecting options and is quiet when running. The dampness sensor is a really cool feature. 4 stars instead of 5 cause it's not a cool finish like matte or black or black stainless or pink or anything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality dryer

After 3 years, the dryer stopped working. The repair technician told us we would need to replaced the panel, but GE is unable to provide the required part. We are basically forced to purchase a new dryer. I'm pretty sure it won't be another GE.

Dryer GTD65EBSJ3WS had to replace the main board and chassis although the unit is only 4 years-old. Still does not dry well. Would not recommend.
