After 10 years of using a stackable unit, I brought a side by side washer/dryer. The machines are modern, dependable, and, reasonable priced. Who knew doing laundry could be so much fun- my whites are brighter than ever. Thumbs up.

Good so far ...

I like the dryer so far- There are a lot of setting options to customize how you dry a load, but it''s easy to set. Sometimes the dryer turns off before the clothes finish drying when there is still time left on the timer. I think this happens because of sensors that cause the dryer to turn off if seems the load is dry. That is a good feature to prevent over drying clothes; however, it's frustrating if you are trying to get other loads in. You can set how you dry you want the clothes, so I still have to get familiar with what works best. I think if the clothes you put in are some different materials the sensor turns off the dryer if some clothes seem dry. I don't like the vent! Sometimes after one load it has lint overflowing. The vent is also hard to get in and out of the place it belongs. It does not slide in and out smoothly. I have only had the dryer a couple weeks so far, so I can't say how good it is for the long haul. However, I do like the dryer!
