We are senior citizens and have found this dryer to be easy for us to operate. Also it does an excellent job drying clothes compared to our previous dryer.

I had GE appliances as a young mother years ago and was always satisfied so recently when I needed a new Washer and Dryer I went back to the old standby. Although the GE washer and dryer are very efficient and I am satisfied with my purchase BUT THE BUZZER DOESN'T RING WHEN THE LOADS ARE DONE although there is a volume button on both appliances it dossn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this new dryer!!

I purchased the dryer a couple months ago. I love everything about it. It holds a lot of laundry for large loads. Once I found the setting I liked that worked for me you can set it to be on that setting every time you start the dryer. The volume control you can lessen or increase to let you know when the dryer is done. It sure does a great job drying my clothes in less than half the time my old dryer took. This is a good one.
