The dryer latch does not open and close easily. Seems with time it might become more difficult or possibly break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks very much for the review. Sorry to hear that the door is a little difficult to open and close. It does take a bit of force to make sure that the door closes properly. You shouldn't slam the door closed however as this could potentially damage parts.

Very basic and noisy

This dryer is of crude construction — even the door and lint trap are very cheap construction — the drying cycles last s very long time and the buzzers are very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do hate to hear that you're unhappy with the end of cycle signal but your unit does have a Signal knob on the right hand side of the control panel. If you'd rather not hear the buzzer, you can turn this knob to OFF.

Appears to work just fine, only used a few times since install. Clothes appear to be less wrinkled than our older unit. Less dry time is required.
