The dryer works as well as I hoped it would. The price was very good and the features are well worth it. All in all I am completely satisfied with the dryer.

Disappointed compared with previously owned GE dry

Dryer door is hard to close. The selection dial is very hard to turn and the lint catcher is extremely flimsy to remove and insert. Clothes dry nicely. It measured the same as my previous GE dryer but the electric plug sticks out further and does not allow me to push it into the closet as far as the older one and now I need to have the electric plug moved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for taking the time to write out your thoughts for your dryer, we're happy to hear from you. The dryer door does take a bit of force to close but you should not need to slam it to get it to shut properly. The main dial may also be a bit stiff at first but after you've used the unit for some time, it may loosen a bit.

Enjoying the New Dryer

I appreciate the style and features of our new dryer. The only thing I wish were a little different is the door. It may loosen up but is a little snug so far. You have to pull it open with a bit more force than I'd expect and push harder to snap it shut. The door also doesn't mount flush with the front of the dryer is you might expect. At one point I thought maybe it was just installed incorrectly but it really does appear to be the way it was designed to be. I guess I just wish it was designed slightly differently.
