We desperately needed a new dryer, and we did not want to spend exorbitant monies for a new one. Since I've had great experiences with other GE products over the last 35+ years, I only wanted a new GE dryer for my family. This unit is very quiet, keeps the clothes completely wrinkle-free and did not break the budget! I highly recommend it!

One of the features that I like about this dryer is the large drum. It's great for large items and larger loads of laundry. I also like that I can turn the finished drying signal off. Sometimes I dry a load of laundry early in the morning, or at night, and don't have to be concerned about an alarm waking family members. The dryer works great, and I'm glad we bought it. Seems to be made very well.

This dryer is quick, gentle, and you can adjust the volume of the end of cycle tone. I couldn't do that on my old dryer and you could hear it next door. My clothes come out perfectly dry, fluffy, and lint free. It's a keeper.

I replaced a 30 year old, very similar GE dryer. Wanted something simple, with manual controls, as close to old unit as possible. This one works great, very quiet, light inside is a nice feature.
