I have only had the dryer for 3 weeks but it seems to do the job. I like that it does not seem to overheat the clothes.

It’s nicer than expected. More high tech than I’m accustomed to. Works awesome. Not used to having a lighted drum area.

Certainly not up to prior GE Appliance Experiences

Delivered/installed 5/13/22 Within one week dryer was malfunctioning, and so hot the clothing could not be touched and you could have fried an egg on the top of the dryer. Repair appointment not available for one week and when interior dryer temp was tested by the serviceman I was told I could "bake cookies" inside the dryer . Thermostats need to be replaced but will be almost another 2 weeks until that service will take place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
