Wouldn’t recommend

The dryer doesn’t dry well. I always have to do two cycles to get things dry. The lint filter is hard to get out and in. The door is also hard to close. Would not recommend this dryer. Unfortunately we couldn’t afford to spend more on a dryer so this is what we got. You do get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To make the most out of your drying experience, do not put more than one washer load in the dryer at a time. If you are drying only one or two items, add a few items to ensure proper tumbling.

Dry time great-but still a lower line brand

It does dry well, but I don't like the buzzer it is the worst sound ever. Glad that you can turn it down or off. The turn knob to set the features is king of hard to turn and feels like it could break easily. I tried to reverse the door so it open the way I needed for my washer and screws felt like the were stripping and the piece I needed to make it latch shut was missing so I have to switch it back. That was a big disappointment and a lot of work for nothing. So I don't absolutely love it, but it does dry my clothes well so until I can upgrade I am stuck with it. I wish they would reverse the door before they deliver so you don't have to deal with it Or you could order it the way you need it. I hope it holds up

Drum broke after 2 months

I love this dryer but the drum broke after 2 months which is super frustrating cause I paid a lot of money and just got it!

Great purchase

I had my previous dryer for over 20 years. There was nothing wrong with it, I just wanted GE Applianes. The dryer is great with a very big drum. I can dry really large loads, even comforters. Very happy with my purchase.

This GE Dryer was the right price and the right size for our needs. The laundry room is miniature and so our selection of dryers was limited.
