Love GE Dryer

I bought this GE Dryer along with its 'sister' washing machine. The dryer is huge and can easily fit large king size quilts, sheets, etc. without having to spend hours to dry. I can pick just about any drying situation I need. I've had GE dryers before and never had a single issue with any of them. Each new purchase was to upgrade. But, this time, I am replacing a Maytag dryer - which after 6 years I was tired of constantly replacing the heating element/electronic heat switch which burns out frequently. I had to avoid drying the way that I needed to. My husband learned how to replace these 'chips/electronics' himself and I bought them in quantity vs. paying hundreds to get a repairman. GE over Maytag any day. Same with washing machine. GE over Maytag.

First new dryer for me!

Only had the new dryer for a month and so far, it’s been great! Took just a few minutes yesterday to switch the door to open on the opposite side for ease when loading from my washer - instructions were clear and it switched very easily. Like that I can set how loud or quiet for the buzzer when the dryer cycle is finished.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well. I especially like the cool down at the end of the cycle. Has a buzzer to let you know it's ready to be unloaded. The lent catcher tight.

Does a great job in drying the clothes . Love all the cycles , only issue is havre to really slam the door to get it to lock.
