Fast drying. Love having the lint catcher in the front, instead of on top of dryer. Large barrel.

We decided on this dryer because of the good reviews and simplicity. Poor choice on our part! We have had to have the dryer serviced twice in the past year…of course, it’s out of warranty. We have invested more into this dryer than we paid for it. Per the appliance repair man, the “safety harness” keeps going out. It’s a part that keeps the dryer from over heating. Funny thing is… this dryer is in a secondary home that only gets used about 6-10 times a year! The dryer rarely gets used. Maybe we got a “dud”! No more GE appliances for me!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great electric dryer

We just replaced a dryer we’ve had for the last 16 years with this new GE dryer and it’s really great. Dries the clothes perfectly and has so many options depending on the load size and clothes you are drying. Highly recommended

The dryer works great. It great having the items dried in half the time our old dryer took. The only thing frustrating, is it does not remove as much dog hair and lint as our old dryer. I always find a bundle of lint and dog hair somewhere in the items.
I would recommend this to a friend!
