Not a fan of household chores (especially laundry), but the new dryer performs like a champ! Love the features and drying times.

The dryer works fine. It has an appearance of being cheap and is quality of the dryer is not top of the line.

Doesn’t get as hot as my other dryers

I decided to go back to a basic washer and dryer set the washer works great (prefer upright washer) but the dryer needs a high heat setting. I realized that I never used all 20 settings with the other washer and dryer sets purchased in the past, so why not return to the basics. I have to run the dryer for 2 cycles for 4 heavy bath sheets to dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just tried the machine. It’s more high tech than older washers and dryers. When I called customer service, a very polite representative told me to download the manual. I don’t have a computer or printer. As a senior, I have limited skills and don’t find it easy to read manuals from a cell phone screen. It’s being discriminatory to those who don’t have the technology. GE got a sale, but lack in compassion. It’s good to save money on printing and shipping, but what about the needs of people.

Does the job well

Mine is only three loads old, but it has done its job perfectly. I like that it has a "cottons" and a "casual" heat cycle. I do not usually use the "fluff" option. Easy to clean lint filter, helpful buzzer when finished. Nothing more to ask for than this dryer provides!

I like that my kings sized sheets dry quickly. Used to take several hours for me to wash and dry those sheets and now it just seems to take a few minutes

Simplicity at its Best!

I was looking for a dryer that checked off all the bells and whistles - namely, simplicity! Highly recommend for anyone NOT looking for all the computer buttons and what-nots. Great performance and I just love this dryer.
