I would not purchase this product again. For the price it should last longer then 2 and have more then a one year warranty. The set is just over 2 years old. We are a household of 2 so we may have on average 2 loads a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far had this dryer for a little over a month and has not worked more than a week and a half. Had service call a week ago said it was the outlet, has electrician change out plug now waited another week for a technician. Let see if this time it works. If not you will be returning it immediately

Love my new GE dryer!

Mid-range priced dryer that does a great job. Did a lot of research before deciding on this particular product and so far, so good. It’s only been a month, I hope I can still give a good review in two years.
