Unfortunate GE decline in quality!

Motor started making unusual noise right after install. Had to remove and replace with a second machine. Door on this dryer does not close well and is noisy when it does close.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far the dry has worked very well, more efficient than the older GE dryer that I replaced it with.

I bought this dryer based on other reviews. I now think that there are a lot of customers that haven't actually had a high-quality dryer, and don't know that this one isn't very good. It is at best okay. It eventually gets clothes dry (I've tried every single setting). And leaves lint all over the clothes while the lint filter stays clean. I regret buying this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
