The door is very difficult to open and close. The whole dryer moves when trying to open and you have to slam to shut. Also the machine seems somewhat less than average in terms of what it is made of. The machine drying works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dryer is really quiet. I have put some really big loads in it and it dries it on the first time! It's simple to use. I love that you can turn the buzzer off! Love my dryer!
