Be prepared for lint obstructions & long dry times

We’ve had this dryer for less than a year and professionally cleaned the entire ductwork for the vent at install. There is constant build up of lint in the dryer itself, which causes extremely long dry times and additional maintenance. The lint trap is cleaned after each cycle, but this machine has issues that will cause never ending cleaning in order to function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it comes to consistent lint build-up this usually is caused by a clogged vent. We know you mentioned you cleaned the ductwork during installation, but to be on the safe side it might be best to check it for any obstructions. This can also help with the longer dry times you are noticing.

So far so good. While I did get used to just pressing buttons, the knobs are working well to differentiate which type of clothes I'm drying. We needed to replace our other dryer since the ball bearings were going out, and it took it forever to dry clothes. I have used this on 3 loads of laundry since buying it, and it is working well. I like that I can choose how loud I want the signal to be, so when if I'm busy doing other housework, I am notified that the clothes are dry or I can turn it off so it doesn't wake me up at night.

No time management

It's been 10 days since GE appliances said they would contact me due to damage on my dryer from the manufacturer. I have not heard from anyone. Their time management is horrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to dry quite efficiently and fairly quiet. Good for in smaller laundry room space. Do not really like all the different choices to dry clothes on the right temp level.
