GE electric dryer

I would of given this 5 stars but when it runs it has a louder sound than any dryer I’ve ever had. Like a hum that’s irritating. My laundry room is downstairs and I can hear it upstairs. Should be no sound whatsoever. The lint screen barely has lint in it. Peach fuzz when I do a load of towels. That is not right. I talked a person where I bought it and he said sometimes too much detergent or softener is the problem. I worry it’s going into the motor. I don’t want a fire. That happens way too often. And yes we do clean out our vent pipe regularly. Wrong thing to say to someone who’s been doing laundry longer than he’s been alive. He did send a tech out and said everything is as it should be. Did say the wheel that is on the drum is plastic and that makes it louder? I do like the size of the drum. I also like that it sits taller than my old one so that I can leave my basket in place while opening the door.
If I would of known these things I would of picked something else out.
I also said I wanted to exchange it and he said GE doesn’t allow that. Bull pucky.
