No sensors to control water useage

I purchased a new Smart HE Maytag washer & dryer 4 years ago and HATED IT!!! It had so many sensors and auto fill and mandatory cleaning Cycles with no advance warning that it made me CRAZY!! I FLIPPED OUT ONE NIGHT AND SAID IT ABSOLUTELY HAD TO GO. I purchased this GE washer and dryer 6 weeks ago and I am in love ❤️. It allows me to put enough water in the tub to actually get the clothes completely saturated and the detergent to melt!! Hallalujah!! I will never have another "smart" washer that tells me how I am allowed to clean my laundry! I highly recommend this brand and model.

Washing machine with water!

I love my GE washing machine. It fills up with so much water even when I don't use deep fill. I just put in my king size summer comforter and it had plenty of room and came out clean without being tangled up. Because its so large and fills up with so much water I can do larger loads, which means less time doing laundry.

My elderly mom asked me to write a review of her dryer. She bought her dryer in 1972 and it still works. It is amazing. Because of this dryer our entire family is a GE family. Thank you GE!

So far I'm happy with the dryer. There are two things I'm not crazy about. 1. The knob to select the time feels like it is broken, very hard to turn. 2. The door looks like it is slightly ajar. Just the way it was designed. It is not flush with the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the actual performance of my dryer. The ge dryers are made in Mexico now. Sticker inside dryer door says so. It's difficult to find a dryer without a ding, scratch or paint bubbles. I am picky when I buy something, I want it free from defects.
