This is the best washer I have ever had. This washer gets the clothes so clean and run so quietly I really enjoy it!

Recently purchased GE Washer & Dryer. Previously had a GE Profile for 15 years. Lots of settings on the dryer have not used them all as yet. One feature I am missing is the digital display of time setting for the time remaining in a cycle. Is there a different model I missed purchasing??

Changes stink

1. Maybe you should make the lint screen even smaller so it would have to be cleaned half way through the cycle. UNBELIEVABLE
2. The vent outlet is 4" id. The vent hose is
4" id. Now I need a reducer to connect the 4" id hose instead of sliding hose directly onto the dryer.
3. The side opening door sucks. A top opening used to give me a shelf to keep clothes from falling on the floor when loading & unloading. Also it was easier to shake the wet clothes out before putting them in.
Dryer itself works well. Good settings for use.

But what are the R&D people thinking with the 3 changes they made. They evidently don't do laundry or install the units.

I love my new GE Dryer! I would highly recommend it as a purchase if you're in the market for a new Dryer.
I also purchased the matching Washing machine and love that purchase also.
