Good dryer

We like this GE dryer (and the matching washer). It's our second; the first one lasted about seven years. The only issue during that time was an upper from bearing quickly wore out. The bearing slipped into the to area where the clothes tumbled and created a lot of snags in our garments. Obviously that didn't bother us too much because we never called a technician to have it fixed. The light bulb also seems to burn out quickly... we just attributed that to vibration and it wasn't important enough for us to pay for a repair. Aside from those two concerns, it worked fine for the seven years we used it. When our washer died, we decided to replace the dryer also with the exact same model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Old reliable

This dryer looks and behaves like my old GE which lasted quite a few years before needing to be replaced. This new unit may lack the styling, glitz and glamour of fancier brands, but I’m hoping it’ll perform just as reliably as its predecessor. So far so good.

Replaced a Whirlpool Duet front load dryer with this GE dryer. It dries clothes quicker than the dryer it replaced. This dryer has a very large tub and can accommodate a lot of clothes! Very pleased.

Large capacity and very quiet when running. Lint trap is also inside which is nice; lint doesn't get all over the place. Also, very simple controls. Great dryer for the price.
