Crappy timer knob

I’ve replaced timer knob 5 times because plastic stem keeps stripping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used GE Products for many years and have been very pleased with their life and performance, except for one issue. I was very disappointed to find that the timer on this new dryer, just like the last one we owned, is very stiff and difficult to turn. I finally had to replace the timer on the former one a couple of years ago because it was almost impossible to turn. The replacement timer worked just fine, but I should not have had to do this. You really need to address this issue; it is not unsolvable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got the washer today and was having a little trouble because it was sitting on on soak. But once I reset it and took it auto soak it started up instantly and locked the lid.
