Great Dryer for the Price!

I was looking for a new dryer without the fancy bells & whistles. This dryer suits my needs perfectly and is fairly priced. My old Maytag took twice as long to dry and this was a pleasant change.

Just what I was looking for

I just got this dryer. I bought it because it matches the washer I got last year. I love it. It's quiet. It does it's job great. It's smaller than my old dryer and it gives me more room which is nice. It has all the settings that I was looking for in a dryer.

I've had this dryer about a month now and it has done a good job with all sorts of fabrics and load sizes. It runs quietly, feels solid, and has multiple settings and heat levels. The one drawback is the lint trap handle; it's very hard plastic, no flexibility whatsoever, and it takes a might pull to get it out for cleaning. The hardness of the plastic is a concern for the future as plastic tends to get brittle with age and heat exposure, so I'm wondering how long it will last.

Can You Take Me Dryer

So far, we have enjoyed the GE dryer, which has been a great improvement over our previous dryer which was a different manufacturer. We like that the door opens left to right verses a pull-down opening. The handle broke early-on in the different manufacturer's dryer and we have been opening the door with a can opener for years! The door opening side can also be moved to either side which is convenient. The dryer space is just slightly larger than our previous model but feels like there is much more room in the drum. The setting options are nice as well such as the 15-minute re-tumble which keeps our laundry fluffed if are not able to get to folding it right away. The buzzer is pretty loud but is adjustable, so we keep it off most of the time. Overall a great product.
