Excellent for the price!

I purchased this dryer a few months ago and I love it! It has several cycles for drying and extended tumble. This is good to use when the clothes need a little more time. You can even set the dryer door to open to the left or to the right. I love GE appliances and this one didn't disappoint!!

This dryer was reasonably priced. The lint screen does not slide easily, so I am afraid it will break. And, if you take out clothes before the buzzer goes off, the motor sounds like it is still running if you do not manually turn the knob to off. But overall, it does work well.

Quiet Operation!

It's a little early in the game to rate this appliance. I've only had it in my home for 5 days, but it completely outperforms my old dryer, thanks to the enhanced exhaust capability. I also purchased the matching washer, and I'm quite pleased with the performance of that machine as well.

Just installed this unit, features are numerous. Accommodates all types of clothing options. Buzzer is annoying, door does not close well unless you give it a hard push. Would have liked the option of changing the venting position like the door option before install. The install men said it was not easy to do. So far it dries really well. Hope it lasts as long (13years) as my previous dryer.
