Large wash basin with extra capacity and quiet

This has replaced our old one of over twenty years and it's more than capable of taking care of what we need it for from drying all of our clothes, our elderly families clothes to taking care of all the dogs, beddings and our own beddings and anything else miscellaneous, that needs to be dryed properly..definitely a great machine
I would recommend this to a friend!

This dryer leaves tons of lent on your clothes because of poorly design where the dryer vent is located. You can never get all the lent out of the dryer vent. Also, it ruins your clothes due to the m etal inside causes small tear in your clothes. I bought as a set. Washer is great!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE my matching washer and dryer! Absolutely no issues with either one!
However…I had bought this exact same pair 3 months prior and had numerous issues with both. I ended up returning them and after shopping more expensive options I still wanted this pair (due to my ability to control the machines, excuse me but I’m plenty SMART enough to run my own appliances thank you!).
So I reordered the exact same pair and couldn’t love them more! They’re exactly what I wanted all along!
So if you have “lemons” return them and reorder. Maybe GE will get the message to have a stricter quality control system.

Great dryer

We have had the dryer for 7 years and have not had any problems. There are only 2 of us so I do 5-6 loads each Sunday. I usually use the optimal dry setting and a full load is done close to the same amount of time the GE washer we had from 2015 took to run a load.
We check the filter after every load and clean it off if any lint. It often doesn't have any. I use a squished paper towel roll on my vacuum to clean out the lint area about twice a year (the fact a crevice tool doesn't fit without pushing out the plastic is my only complaint). My husband cleans off the vent cover when doing yardwork. So no major maintenance to keep it running smoothly.
