The 7.2 dryer

I Like GE product ; the problem with this dryer is my fault not to leave change ( coins ) in your pocket! Dimes get wedge unde tub and wall , below door on sides and no way to get them out but to take it apart. Great unit but needs a guard or gasket to stop this problem. Had this for 5 yrs and now got to replace it from coins rubbing the tub lip in 1/2 . To expensive to repair a old unit :-(

Heating stopped working.

We had this dryer 14 months, and it just stopped heating. We have followed the recommended manual to try the options it recommends and nothing works. Based on MULTIPLE reviews stating the same thing, the manufacturer is selling faulty components and products. Would not recommend…

Was great, while it lasted

We've had this dryer almost exactly 2 years. Last week, the timer stopped working and it ran continuously for 7 hours. Now there's no heat (assuming it burned the heating element out) and the timer doesn't count down at all. We've been brand loyal to GE for decades, but that might have to change.

Worked for barely over 2 years and abruptly stopped generating heat. Appliance repair man said it would be cheaper to buy a new dryer. Total trash.

Main Control Knob needs new designing!

Does a great job of drying loads very quickly and clothes come out great. But the main control knob is kind of difficult to turn, you have to have a lot of muscle, plus you can twist your elbow.
