I bought this approx 1 1/2 month ago. Its okay. Drys clothes. The loudest buzzer isn't very loud at all. Can't hear it in other sections of my house. I wouldn't buy it again. Very disappointed in GE products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to work good, but I hate the incessant beeping when done, one beep would be good but four beeps at times is ridiculous.
