Dial on Dryer cycle seems cheap

The dial on the dryer cycle is hard to move and not precise on where you want it.

Most efficient, effective dryer we have ever owned

This dryer is quiet, efficient and very effective. It dryers an entire load in less than a third of the time of our previous dryer.

Machine makes thumping noise intermittently even when no clothes are in it. The main dial is very stiff and hard to move. The instructions say nothing about which direction to turn the dial, so I just assumed the same clockwise direction as my old dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your dryer. The timer will turn in both directions when setting the dry time. The timer turns clockwise when the dryer is operating.

I have only had the dryer about 6 weeks. It has typical features for this price range and so far it has worked fine.

Good GE but....

The only my thing I don’t like is it washes like it doesn’t have a agitator. That’s the whole point why I bought it. I don’t like that it does fill up with water u less u press the deep fill
