Past GE dyer lasted 15 years, wanted the same performance and quality in the new one, and believed we could count on GE again

Installed 5/13/17. Loved it, worked diligently and without fail dried wet clothes on command..and then the day came when it refused to comply with my orders..I press the start button...and nothing..check door of dryer, apply pressure, shift and touch door finally..it would begin..and then today..such a sad day with damp clothes staring at me through the door of dryer..I tried my best to coax it to start, caressing, repositioning, pressure to the door..all the extra attention I could muster..alas, nope..I just couldn't give it what it needed most :( ...a new freaking door sensor..sad, sad day

We bought this washer/dryer combo because we wanted a classic machine that would last. The dryer space is huge. Easily fit a comforter in here! It dries our clothes halfway through the cycle. It’s easy to operate and does exactly what we want. We are very pleased with the quality and price!

I bought this dryers few weeks ago, and we are still getting used to it. It is awesome and dries clothes so hot, but still not sure how sensor drying is working. Seems to be on longer than needs to be, but like I said, still not used to it. Had an old school dryer for 20 years b4 this one. Love the big tub, very quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!
