This has been the perfect dryer for me. I didn't want a lot of bells and whistles; just a nice, simple "old fashioned" dryer. It runs quietly, as well.

Last model of this similar GE dryer lasted over 15 years with hard usage. Only minimal repair.

Good basic dryer

I wanted a dryer without a lot of bells & whistles that may cause problems down the road -- this is it. That being said, I do have some issues with the design. I prefer a door that opens from the bottom, forming a shelf. Having to remember to change the temperature setting as well as the cycle setting has been challenging. My greatest dislike though is the fact that clothes almost always fall out onto the floor every time I open the door.
