First time having a side opening door taking some time to get used to. I don't like how the lint trap is in front when you open the door. There is always some extra hanging around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE appliances are wonderful the one I replaced was at least 20 years old. I can't complain. I hope I get as much use out of this GE Dryer as I did my last one.

Dryer is great, holds a lot, only have to use one cycle per load and the dewrinkle is awesome! Has a small lint catcher and needs to be cleaned after each load and it's quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!
