Excellent Machine...except for one thing.

We love this dryer especially the simplicity of it. We didn't want all the bells and whistles and electronics that came with most of the newer models. Those were just features that would eventually breakdown. We enjoy just what we got, a dryer that drys and does it good. Just one recommendation...Make the main dial easier to turn. We're not sure it were turning it the wrong way, because either way is a bit harder than you would think.

fairly compact design, simple and intuitive controls. it did a great job on a heavy blanket that i washed and dried on the first go around. It will not leave you out to dry (no pun intended)

Waiting on a warranty service tech to come out. Some days it works fine. Others it shuts off every 5-10 minutes

Nice size & easy to use settings

Two complaints before even using it. The lint filter is very hard to remove & can easily be broken. The door doesn’t shut easily either. You need to slam it to close. So much for quietly doing laundry! As far as drying, we’ve only used it 3 times because we haven’t had it very long, but so far, so good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poorly made

This is the least reliable dryer ever. Bought this dryer less than 3 years ago and it gets used maybe once a week. Stopped working due to a poorly made dial. My extended warranty they sold me doesn’t cover anything. Getting no support from GE. This will be my last GE product.
