Fast and thorough

This dryer comes at a reasonable price point but also gets the job done. I used to do loads of heavy towels and would need to run my dryer two or three times, but that is no longer the case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first new dryer

Drys fast and quietly. I love that I can turn the buzzer off, if I’m running it at night. It’s very large and easy to use. I like that the lint trap is inside at the bottom of the door. I wish it wouldn’t catch hair (I have animals) between the lint trap and the door. When I open it, a small amount falls out. I then empty the lint try which isn’t even half full. But it works great. That’s not worth dropping the rating.

Lasted six days before major problem.

Dryer had strange noise from the very start. Sounded more like a washing machine on a spin cycle. Six days in, it developed a very strong burning smell. Service was called (this particular company was "booked" several days out. Turns out that the drum drive belt had been installed "inside out". New belt installed, dryer worked fine, but still a noise in the belt. Second service call, and the inside of the drive belt had minute but obviously significant ridges where the seams of the belt were evident. The technician smoothed the seams with an emery board, and now the dryer sounds and operates like it should have from the start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
