GREAT MACHINE PERFECT FIT MOBILE HOME

This is a replacement for a old sears unit that lasted 20 yrs I needed a dryer that would fit in a tight area and this unit fit the area that was set up for dryer perfectly. Was able to use the vent system that was there with no issues had it up and running within a hour of getting it in the door did 2 loads cloths came out dry and wrinkle free used bounce sheets that came dryer as sample's they worked great will use them again I am very pleased with this dryer would highly recommend this well built machine for tight spaces you won't be sorry!

This GE Electric Dryer should last forever.

We have been married for over 63 years. When we purchased our first house in 1962, we chose GE appliances. Clothes washer, electric dryer, refrigerator, stove and TV set. We built our new home and moved in on June of 1972. All appliances came with us. The washer and dryer went into the laundry room and the refrigerator and freezer went into our basement. We purchased new GE top and bottom electric stove, refrigerator trash compactor and dish washer for our new kitchen. Fifty years later, the stove, compactor and dish washer are still in place working fine. Twenty five years after moving in, we replaced the refrigerator with a new GE. The one we replaced went into the garage along with the freezer from the basement. The old original refrigerator, still working, was sent to trash. To this day, we still have the upright freezer in our garage 60 years old and is working fine. We original clothes washer has been replaced once with a new GE and the electric dryer replaced twice with GE. The only reason why the dryer was replaced is because at 85 years of age, I was too lazy to take it apart to change the fiber bushing that the drum rotates on. There was nothing else wrong with it.

This is basic dryer. Still fits in the same spot as old models. Does the job without fancy extras. We much prefer this to the "modern" appliances our kids use.

Bearing went out!

We are a family of 2 so on an average we would have 3 loads a week. The set is just over 2 years old and is now make a loud noise like a bearing is out of it. For the cost it should be a better quality or have a longer warranty. Growing GE was a top of the line that is way I chose to purchase this set. I will not purchase a GE appliance in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
