Drys quickly, the quick fluff works great to remove wrinkles if you let your clothes sit in the dryer.

Hi Vee,
We're sorry to hear about your concern about the noise level of your dryer. Since the drum is in motion, your clothing is being tumbled, and heat is being applied to said clothing, there is going to be some noise when your dryer is running. Here is a link of the noises that a dryer should be making. If your noise is not on this list, there is also some information on unusual noses and what to do about them: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17411

Knew what it was and what to expect
Door has to be slammed is the only con, otherwise a fine working dryer
Like the other doors that flipped out rather than like a front door- more like an oven door
