This dryer has many options for drying many types of clothes. I like the optimum dry feature that senses the dryness is the load. It is quiet and efficient. Controls are easy to use.

Overall good. There is a problem with the door - and I've heard this same complaint from others with GE dryers - it's hard to close gently and start the dryer; in other words, you may have to try 2-3 times (slamming it shut) to get it to engage and start drying. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
