COncerned about heat emanating from top of dryer

Heating issue required that we return the first model we bought. Second one did not heat/smoke and appears to be working safely. If heating issue recurs, we will return the product and request a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A very good dryer for the money. The "de-wrinkle" setting is great if you need to touch up the clothes after they have been sitting for a while. The location of the lint screen makes it easy to clean. It is also very quiet.

I absolutely love it! My old dryer took 4 times to get everything dry. This one only has to run once and holds twice as much!
