Does what a basic dryer should do

Large capacity, dries adequately. Clothes are not wrinkle free, even using those settings, but does an ok job. I like the volume knob so we can control how loud the buzzer is, or turn it off altogether.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NOT WORTH MY MONEY

This dryer went out on me after the 1st year!! The heating element went out and after 3 visits by a repairman and 3 years later I’m back to buying a dryer. Im very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer

Dryer is simple to use and does it’s job well. I had no idea how bad my old dryer was until I started using this one. The only thing I recommend changing is the lint trap. It’s very small and the opening is to narrow for a vacuum tool to fit in to clean it out. That is the reason for 4 stars. Everything else is great.

Timer broke and stopped working within 7 months,

Stupendous dissatisfaction.
7 months dryer, the cheap plastic timer knob broke, GE will not assist or honored.
No more GE products for us.

This has been one of the worse dryers I have owned. We've had this dryer for about 2 years and it's already wore out. It started catching clothes between the drum and the frame and the heating elements seem to be going bad. Atleast once every 2 weeks or so i have to get the vacuum out and run an attachment down in the lint trap to get the lint out because the screen does not catch much of it. Will be replacing very soon
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
