Great Features, allows for a large load of laundry

Large capacity dryer that works well. Easy to operate and dials are very intuitive. Unit offers option to locate door on opposite to make loading of clothes from washer easier. Would have preferred unit with door that opens downward instead of side opening, but not a major issue. The unit operates more loudly than my previous dryer, but not a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does not dry as well as our 20 year old dryer and certainly not as sturdy. The door latch is the cheapest ever, something that would be more suited for a childs toy. Door is so flimsy that you must press it closed exactly where the latch is or it will flex and not latch. Very poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent Features - Questionable Quality

I replaced another GE model with this one to get one that has an off switch for the buzzer, which was amazingly loud. This one is OK so far but I did notice that the plastic fittings near and on the lint screen had some sharp jagged that my clothes hung on. I was able to push them down with a flat screw driver and they're no longer a problem. It drys clothes well so I guess it deserves 3 stars.

Machine is broken

Washer does not drain and spin. Drive motor does not spin tub. Water had to be bailed out.
