Squeaking already

The timer selector turns very stiffly and feels as if it could break in the future. My fault for not going to a store to try it out. Other issue is that it makes a short squeak both at cycle startup and end only; doesn't do it while running. If I physically rotate the drum slowly by hand, there is a steady squeak and it sounds like it's coming from the front support bearings. I can also feel a slight binding as it squeaks. Will have to continue monitoring it. Not satisfied this early on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
