Poor job on sheets & large items

Have had this dryer for about a year. It does a decent job on regular items but is a problem with sheets. It rolls them up in a twisted wad then drys the outside while in the wad is still damp. It takes rearranging and a couple of cycles to get them dry Never come out smooth. No matter how I load it - the same thing happens. Maybe the drum rotates
too fast - I don't know. My other complaint is the selection dial - it turns very hard and is completely smooth - so hard to get a grip on it. I have been a GE person for years but this product is disappointing. I recently purchased a new dishwasher but I DID NOT buy GE because of what I have seen with this - seems like poor engineering to me.

Not as nice as the previous GE Profile unit.

This new GE dryer replaced a 9-year-old GE Profile model. It had a stainless drum, while the new model has an aluminum one. Also, the new knobs are more difficult to turn. It's just not as nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A dryer that doesn't dry

Doesn't dry clothes after one cycle. Have to extend the drying time after each load.
