Good Dryer

Was on the fence about this dryer but there were just as many good reviews as bad so decided to go with it. Had this a week and its done more than a good share of loads already and i cant find anything wrong with it. Its quiet and does a good job of drying my clothes. I am still in a learning curve on how this dryer works but so far so good. I did take out the extended warranty when i purchased this just to be safe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not bad for the price

Generally, I like this dryer. It does what it is supposed to do without bells or whistles. I like dryers with lint screens in the door rather than on top. There are settings for cotton,“casuals”, and delicates. My only complaint is the drum design. Large items like sheets or blankets tend to wad into tight rolls that remain wet or damp in the center. I have to check blankets and unroll them mid cycle.

Suspected my 10 year old dryer was probably energy inefficient so decided to upgrade. First use was big load of towels and it dried faster than old one would have.

I could not be pleased more by the performance of my new GE Electric Clothes Dryer. Both Medium and Large loads dry evenly. The Optimum setting works every time. Clothes, towels and sheets never need more time added. Its ENERGY Star rated too!
